After a long time away and the pandemic thwarting our social activities, we were absolutely delighted to finally get together with some of our foster families in the Easter holidays. We had foster carers there with the children they look after, including their own children and it was great fun to have everyone hanging out together.

We had lots of activities both inside and out including…

  • Our big Easter egg hunt, including age-appropriate challenges like jumping over hockey sticks, identifying animals and sounds. We even had a go at the limbo!
  • Pebble painting (check out the colourful designs below!)
  • Colourful parachute games.

Our imaginative group also played hide and seek and enjoyed drinks and snacks in the hall. We all had the best time and can’t wait to get together with our foster families again as soon as we can.

Our supervising social worker, Juvy, was so excited she even dug out her Easter bunny outfit for the occasion!
