Join the Oxford Road Fiesta on Saturday 18 July!

Bring the whole family along for a fantastic free community fun day at the Oxford Road Fiesta from 2-7pm.

Our Fostering Recruitment Officer will be hosting a summer-themed fostering stand at the event, with fun activities and information about fostering – stop by for a chat!

Pack a picnic and relax with friends and family or treat yourself to the delicious food and drink available from the stalls. With plenty of free and low-cost activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Highlights include:

• Kelvin Husband’s famous climbing wall and bouncy castles from Grassroots
• Football coaching with Pass and Move
• The spectacular Chinese dragon from Reading Chinese School
• Live music and dance performances, including Bhangra and Nepalese dancers
• Charity and community stalls where you can discover and support local organisations
• Food, drinks and much more!

Whether you’re after a fun day out with the children, want to meet local people or simply enjoy the entertainment, the Oxford Road Fiesta promises a great day for all ages.

How to get there

Come by bus! The event takes place in Kensington Park, Kensington Road, just off Oxford Road. The 15, 16 and 17 buses will bring you right there.
