Therapeutic fostering supports children and young people who have experienced significant trauma or neglect and who need a nurturing, therapeutic environment.
This approach sees behaviour as a form of communication. Therapeutic foster carers are curious about what’s behind a child’s actions, asking questions like: What’s driving this behaviour? Has it helped them feel safe before? They respond with empathy, recognising these behaviours as survival strategies, and work alongside the child to support healing and positive change.

What we offer
- Generous remuneration of up to £34,999 per year (£650 per week), plus child allowance

- Weekly therapeutic support for the child and foster carer
