Therapeutic Foster Carer Recruitment
Reading Fostering Service is hosting a special event on
Wednesday 28 January from 5-8pm, at the Civic Offices, Reading RG1 2LU.
We’re currently in the process of recruiting carers for a small group of children in Reading who have experienced significant trauma or neglect and who need a nurturing, therapeutic home and family to help them thrive. The children’s social workers will be present to provide information and answer any questions about the children and the support available.
In summary, support includes:
- £650 weekly payment plus child allowance
- Respite support package
- Weekly therapeutic support for the child and foster carer
- Trauma-informed supervision
- PACE and other therapeutic training opportunities
