What you do with your life could forever change someone else’s future
Reading Fostering Service is very proud to launch ‘The Run’, the latest fostering recruitment film created collaboratively with over 90 other local authority fostering services.
The Run is a powerful short film that shines a light on the life-changing impact of fostering.
The film follows Tom, an 11-year-old boy whose urge to run tells two stories: one of escape – from danger, a turbulent home life, and the race to school for breakfast because he’s hungry – and one of discovery, as he finds purpose through sport. With the support and stability of his foster family, Tom’s passion for running flourishes. The film reaches an emotional high as he competes in an athletics tournament, cheered on by his foster family in the stands.
So, grab a seat and prepare to be inspired to foster…
